I am in danger and afraid. I cannot sleep again and found you through your website….. with all hope and prayer we can stop this monster. I do not have any money and am very afraid of losing my home….. I know everything, and for Dr. Cole and I, is currently a safety issue..…. My knowledge of and support goes to Dr. Cole for the severe beatings she suffered at the hands of Devra over an extended period of time.

I have written her a letter that I have been hesitant on sending her, as I know it will create a wave of violent behavior and I have little to protect myself. My only safety net per law enforcement is to write a "Letter of No Contact" and mail it. If she stalks me, and I have this letter in hand, law enforcement will respond and then maybe the Judge will order a "no stalking order" against her! I have been hiding in my home for many days now, afraid to go anywhere.

This attitude is pervasive and includes her current finance controller, whom she has extorted from him over $300,000 since Sept 06'. He is very afraid of losing his money, wife, and children yet does not understand why I cannot come back to work and just let it roll off my back while she relentlessly screams at me and publicly humiliates me before, during and after work.

I will not return and subject myself to her violent and abusive behavior! I continue to awaken from a sound sleep (on many occasions) at 3:00 a.m. and last night being one of those nights in which I have the feeling of impending doom, and is the reason I finally really took a look at your website and contacted you. I need support in how to deal with her shamanic witchcraft. Can you tell me more?

Dr. Cole was severely beaten on several occasions and proof is available…… I know that I can never be in the same room with her again, due to her ability to read my mind. I am not sure how she does this and would greatly appreciate any light you can shed on her abilities…... I spoke to Pat this afternoon and she too awoke suddenly this morning to high levels of anxiety. Although, I agree to feeling the same high levels of anxiety, I also felt impending doom. I am strong and am turning information over to the authorities and to you, as well as getting out of bed immediately upon awakening. All this is helping me to cope, and yes having some geographic distance between us would help a great deal.

There is a part of me that wants to draw her violent behavior out into the open, by using my letter and the letter of no contact and then being ready for her to come my way. The irony is that the Sheriff's office advises me to do so, but with a tamer letter than the one I have written…..! He recently treated a former employee as laid-off after Devra threw a book at her and then fired her….. and as of last night he pretends not to remember that we both saw her, Wendy Stuart, get hit by Devra with a large, heavy three-ring binder and fired on the spot!

Devra has taken such a toll on my psyche that I have been suicidal for some time now…… Yesterday, I came home to one of her employees in my yard and without permission!...... I very much have the support of local law enforcement as the photos of Pat's beatings candidly show the truth and which she calls Core Impacting and/or Shamanic Blows!....... Do some research on witness protection for those of us that are targets. Remember this is a criminal case at this point and will only become a successful civil case if the funding comes in! We are pursuing the laws that she is currently breaking and will continue to do so until she either gets smart or goes to jail!

I am a firsthand witness to the physical and emotional abuse from Devra as I experienced it myself, as well as witnessing the abuse of my 6 year old son by Devra. Devra attacked me viscously because I had been responsible for certain people leaving which meant loss of money to her and the breaking of her web of control. I also am witness to her psychological techniques of breaking people down which is nothing short of a form of brainwashing. I am certain you have already researched the mind techniques of cults, but it falls right in line. Charismatic leader who declares themselves above God and rationalizes all activity for the self-aggrandizement of self, including all forms of abuse and manipulation.

I also have knowledge of Devra's psychological profile. She never got over her severe childhood abuse and hence became the abuser and controller in her life. She is psychologically unstable. If you research child abuse and the ramifications of the behaviors she falls right in line with the behaviors and is a classic case of the abused child. Put that together with an intelligent mind, creativity, allot of anger and you have the makeup of a cult leader. I work as a therapist but am not a licensed psychologist so my opinions would not be admissible in court as an expert witness. I know this would not be admissible in court but I am quite aware as a clairvoyant what she was doing energetically. I was a support to many of the people in the group helping them deal with the psychological trauma and emotional pain that was created by Devra's manipulation. I too am paying a dear price for my participation in DU.

To whom it may concern, This is a statement about incidents of physical and psychological abuse by Ms. Devra West towards her students, staff and course participants. These incidents described here were witnessed by me, Deborah Coffey. I was a student of Devra West for approximately seven years and unofficially employed for a brief period of two months.

I read a letter that Ms. West wrote to a staff member, her personal assistant, whom had given notice to her employer, Ms. West, to leave her job. She had taken the appropriate steps to terminate her position responsibly. The letter from Ms. West was full of intimidating statements of a psychological nature. One in particular stated that she (her personal assistant) would fail miserably in her life if she left; that this assistant had a soul contract with herself (Ms. West) and that if she broke that soul contract she was doomed to suffer not only in this life but for many life-times. I have read three other letters that were written to three individuals whom had not complied with Ms. West’s desire for their money, attention or services. The method used in each letter was psychological manipulation using seduction, coercion, intimidation and ridicule.
 

I witnessed two occasions in which Ms. West threw water in peoples’ faces. On one occasion while she was teaching in front of a group, Ms. West forcefully threw the contents of her glass of water in the face of her personal assistant. She did the same to a student during a teaching session. I witnessed three occasions in which Ms. West violently pulled the hair, of three female staff members. In each case the hair was pulled and the head was shaken forcefully from side to side. On some occasions she would hit people in the face.

I witnessed one occasion in which she hit a man in the forehead, leaving an abrasion where her ring cut the skin. She said afterwards, that she didn’t do it, God or a deity of God did it. This was the rationale she often used to justify her own violence. I was present in Montreal in which Ms. West tore a woman’s ear. The woman was kneeling in front of Ms. West and had quietly challenged her authority. Ms. West reacted physically. She grabbed her hair on both sides of her face and shook her and told her to leave. I learned later that the woman was injured. Evidently the woman’s ear had been grabbed too and then torn. She underwent reconstructive surgery for the injury. I was present in the room on two different occasions (but did not witness the precise moment) in which Ms. West hit students in the face. One of those women reportedly suffered a dislocated jaw, the other was hurt but not injured.

I was personally involved, as were others, in what I will call public humiliation or degradation rituals. The pattern of dominance, humiliation and “bonding” was essentially the same in all cases. In my case, I had just moved to Montana two days prior to the incident to build a life among the other members of the group and contribute to the goals of the organization. That day, and for the first time, I became the focus of degradation. My apparent flaws and failings were paraded by Ms. West in front of the group. It was personally shocking and humiliating. She continued until I was sufficiently disorientated. Then at a strategic moment, she began to build me back up. Because I had nothing left of my self to stand on, I connected to her to make it through. In this way a false bonding to her, the teacher/leader occurred. She said afterward to me that she did it with love. She often said this to people whom she abused. I witnessed many of these kinds of “treatments”.

To whom it may concern, Re: Devra West’s letter to me dated June 7th 2003 I wish it to be known that I have given the original of this letter to John Watson, retaining a copy for my own records.

I wish to disassociate myself from many of the remarks made about John Watson by Devra West in her letter to me. Particularly those made on page two of her later where she alleges that “I warned her about John Watson etc.” This never happened.

The reality is that John was one of Devra’s most valued employees until he left last August 2002, indeed for five months after John resigned Devra put it about, in the belief that John would return, that he was on temporary a leave of absence. John’s relationship with me and others was just fine and as far as I know he had a good relationship with his wife!

Devra has a habit of ‘mounting written campaigns against those she regards as ‘disloyal,’ which is anyone who leaves, she does this both to intimidate and because she wants to create a ‘paper trail’ for later use against those who might talk about what they have seen and heard whilst in her employ. Her letters to those that have left, for whatever reason, often contain fictitious scenarios which she concocts in an attempt to intimidate what she sees as her adversaries.

The matter concerning health insurance that she refers to at the bottom of the first page never actually occurred but it is her way of trying to keep me quiet. I hope this clarifies matters.
