My dictionary tells me that the definition of a sadist is someone who obtains pleasure from inflicting pain on others. Its a fact that most decent people are genuinely upset and full of remorse when they learn that they have hurt someone and it goes without saying that real ‘spiritual’ people would not knowingly harm anyone indeed they go out of their way to please.

So how do we account for Surya Ma? Is she a closet sadist?  The only logical explanation is that she is a fraud, a wolf in sheep’s clothing in other words she is someone who manages to hide her true nature from her victims until she cannot keep the deception up any longer.  

Clearly Surya Ma gets a kick out of physically abusing other women – why else would she do it? Or is that physical abusers get so hooked on the power and control that they have over their victims that they can never give up the practice?  Some of these incidents occurred in the late 90’s so there is no doubt that West is a serial offender with some kind of psychological problem.

If you doubt what I am saying then read or listen to the comments made by her victims or her victims close associates. This just received in June 2007 from the latest victim’s best friend.

“Dear John, I have been concerned about Devra's antics, and became especially concerned when my very best friend (I am sorry I cannot reveal her name now) came to me days after having been severely beaten by Devra West. She was a mess, emotionally and physically, stated very clearly what had happened, and said she was never going back.

She was covered in bruises. I love this woman as my sister and was devastated for her, especially when she didn't pursue anything legally. She looked as though she had fallen off a mountain, and was very stiff and sore. I have never met Devra, never hope to. Respectfully, Jenny”

This arrived March 2007 from Surya Ma’s ex Office Manager and I quote,

“My knowledge of and support goes to Dr. Cole for the severe beatings she suffered at the hands of Devra over an extended period of time. My care to the finance controller and his family for the money she has extorted.”

“I give it 1 maybe 2 weeks and then it is time to go to the media with the additional 30+ employees she has assaulted and cheated out of their money here in the Flathead Valley.”

“Dr. Cole was severely beaten on several occasions and proof is available. I hope and pray, the law firm that is currently reviewing her documents will help Dr. Cole recover her losses and/or dignity, as she has no money left after Devra extorted more than $700,000 from her.”
